DmC Devil May Cry™

Set in a modern context, DmC Devil May Cry™ offers a reimagined story of Dante’s evolution as a character. It retains the stylish presentation, flexible combat system, and confident protagonist that have defined this iconic series, while introducing a darker and more brutal tone.

In DmC, Dante is portrayed as a rebellious young man who rejects authority and societal norms. He realizes he is neither human nor fully part of the demonic entities that have tormented him throughout his life, feeling like an outcast caught between worlds. With the help of his twin brother Vergil, leader of the resistance group "The Order," Dante discovers what it means to be the offspring of both a demon and an angel. This duality significantly impacts gameplay, allowing him to utilize abilities from both sides at any moment, transforming his weapon, the Rebellion, in real-time to adapt his fighting style and movement.

Capcom collaborated with the British studio Ninja Theory, known for creating action games with compelling characters and narratives of high quality. This combination of Ninja Theory’s expertise and Capcom’s unparalleled experience in developing melee-focused games ensures that DmC remains true to the beloved series, which has sold over 11 million copies, while elevating it to new cinematic heights.

Key Features

  • Survive in Limbo: The city of Limbo is a living entity determined to destroy Dante. The environment shifts in real-time, challenging him to master his demonic powers to reshape Limbo to his advantage while honing his angelic skills to navigate this twisted reality.
