An all-new economic simulator from the creator of Big Pharma. Megaquarium is a worthy successor to classic amusement park management simulators—now with an underwater theme!
Living Simulation
Though you may start with just a few aquariums and a handful of species, that won't stop you from building a massive oceanarium metropolis that accommodates hundreds of visitors, dozens of staff, and a multitude of marine life, each with its own care requirements.
Design Exhibits
In Megaquarium, you can find nearly a hundred different marine species, including fish, sharks, crustaceans, corals, jellyfish, other invertebrates, and even turtles! You'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to setting up, decorating, and filling your aquariums.
Hire the Right Staff
Reliable staff are essential. Hire employees based on their skills and work potential. Decide whether you prefer versatile individuals who can handle any basic task or specialized experts. You’ll need to weigh the pros and cons to understand what your oceanarium truly needs.
Research New Animals and Technologies
Guests visiting your exhibits will earn you points that can be spent on researching new animals and equipment. Continue to improve and expand your oceanarium to unlock prestigious creatures and create the most magnificent display in history.
Manage Your Finances
The fish you want to buy looks luxurious, but will its purchase hurt your budget too much? Some animals may require hiring new staff, expensive food, or special feed, and just think of how much specialized aquariums will cost! As the manager of the oceanarium, you’ll need to learn how to balance extravagance with economy.
Keep Visitors Happy!
Your visitors must be satisfied, so they will need benches to rest, food and drinks, and restrooms. After touring the exhibits, don’t forget to send guests to the gift shop to increase your income!
Training School
Your career will start in campaign mode, where you’ll learn everything necessary for setting up and managing the oceanarium. In each of the 10 levels, you’ll need to configure the oceanarium according to unique gameplay conditions and tasks. You’ll discover new features and information as you progress.
Sandbox Awaits
After that, dive into the "Sandbox" mode, where you can customize any settings and use a random goal generator for virtually unlimited fishy gameplay.
Easy to Understand, Hard to Master
Successfully managing an oceanarium is not easy. To overcome all challenges and lead it to prosperity, you’ll need unconventional thinking and attention to detail. Will you group animals by their preferred food type, water quality, or another attribute? Will you place equipment in specialized rooms and connect it with pumps or spread it throughout the oceanarium? How can you optimize the layout so visitors see all the aquariums, while staff have easy access?
Every decision you make in Megaquarium will not go unnoticed. The layout of the oceanarium and your choice of animals, filters, aquariums, and staff will have far-reaching consequences, even if they aren’t immediately apparent. Experiment, adapt, learn, and apply the lessons you’ve learned. Most importantly—have fun!
