The development team, which includes the designers of HITMAN and one of the creators of PAYDAY, presents Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden — an adventurous tactical game that combines turn-based battles in the style of XCOM with the necessity of stealth and exploration in a world devoid of humans but full of nature... and mutants.

The end of the world has, of course, come.

It was only a matter of time. Irreversible climate changes, a global economic crisis, an epidemic that claimed many lives... and an escalating conflict between old and new superpowers. Then, nuclear weapons were unleashed for the first time since 1945, and flashes of nuclear explosions lit up every corner of the Earth.

Now the war is over, and the planet has fallen silent. Nature reigns in the ruined cities. Only the wind wanders through the streets, which have turned into graveyards. There are no people here anymore. Mutants—neither fully human nor animal, grotesquely disfigured—roam the remnants of civilization in search of salvation (or at least food). To survive, you and your companions must leave your shelter and venture into the Zone.

Perhaps you will find the legendary Eden—an ancient refuge hidden amidst the surrounding hell. There, as the legends say, you may find answers to all your questions.

Although, perhaps it’s all complete nonsense.

TACTICAL COMBAT
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is just what you need to satisfy your passion for turn-based strategy. Enjoy challenging turn-based battles reminiscent of the XCOM series.

A WORLD WITHOUT HUMANS
In the cities, there isn’t a soul in sight, the roads are crumbling, and the countryside is overgrown with grass. After returning from the Zone, don’t forget to stop by the “Arca”—a dubious establishment, something like a nightclub, where you can replenish your supplies and plan your next outing.

A TEAM OF MUTANTS
A duck with an inflated ego and an easily angered boar are certainly not the heroes you’re used to. Dux, Bormin, Selma, and other characters you will meet have unique personalities and a quirky outlook on the world and their lives.

STEALTH
To avoid clashes or catch enemies off guard, you will need stealth. These skills will allow you to decide how you want to initiate combat: your mutants can sneak into the enemy camp, take the best positions, and then strike unexpectedly.

NEW MUTATIONS
Your mutants can unlock new mutations and abilities. For example, Selma will learn to cloak herself in skin as tough as stone, Bormin will charge at enemies, and Dux will stealthily infiltrate enemy camps. So what if he’s a talking duck nearly one and a half meters tall with a crossbow on his back?

A DYNAMIC WORLD
There will always be elements in the landscape around you that can be useful. Avoid spotlight beams and hide from enemy eyes. Or maybe you’ll start leveling walls and buildings, smashing everything in sight?

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH GEAR
To handle the dangers lurking at every turn, your mutants will need equipment—everything from top hats and homemade slings to tactical vests and high-powered rifles. Imagine a raging mutant boar in metal armor with spikes, charging at you with a musket in hand—clearly a post-human era, right?
