ON THE ROAD OF DEATH

The car is your only ally in this harsh and dangerous world. But a leather interior won't be enough to survive its bumpy roads. Your trusty station wagon will need a serious upgrade and reinforcement to withstand the trials ahead. Keep the tank full and the protective panels intact, or else the omnipresent radiation will get to you. Both you and your car will face a test of endurance: repair parts on the go, collect materials, and upgrade your fortress on wheels to fend off the dangers lurking in the dark.

THROUGH THE EXCLUSION ZONE

Scattered throughout the Zone are remnants of experiments conducted by a mysterious Bureau, and finding answers among them won't be easy. You'll encounter anomalies—paranormal phenomena that will either complicate your journey or make it far more interesting. Mysterious figures in the dark, moving heaps of scrap metal, and towering monoliths emerging from the ground—every trip holds its own otherworldly dangers. But nothing in the Zone compares in destructive force to the storm. Floor it as fast as you can—these devastating whirlwinds wipe out everything in their path.

TIME AND AGAIN

Check your map, grab your gear, and hit the road. Collect resources and information along the way; there's always something useful in the Zone. Upon returning to the safety of your garage, use what you've gathered to improve your car. Outside, new dangers await: bad weather, rugged terrain, and the results of failed experiments. The Zone's main rule is "No risk, no reward." Some materials can only be found in the most dangerous areas. Keep your wits about you and don't waste time—the journey will be long.
