Nature is beautiful but unrelentingly harsh. This contrast is the foundation of the game Shelter 2, which is why we decided to create a game about a lynx. The lynx occupies a middle position in the food chain, as far more formidable predators roam the cold tundra.

You will experience life as a mother lynx, who gives birth to her kittens shortly after the game begins. You must take care of them to ensure the most important thing: their survival. Compared to the first game in the series, the gameplay in Shelter 2 has significantly enriched; a stamina attribute has been introduced, along with various movements (including jumping) and new types of prey. Additionally, the range of available actions has expanded: the lynx can sniff out prey, call its kittens to it, carry them to safety, and lead them to water for a drink.

You will encounter vast wild lands.
The game world (and thus the freedom of movement) in Shelter 2 is much larger. Players can return to their favorite locations. The game now features changing weather and seasons: you will experience harsh winters and hot summer days.
The music is once again composed and performed by the band Retro Family, who received an award for the soundtrack to the game Pid. The memorable patchwork-style graphics are enhanced by new atmospheric effects and lighting.
