You are one of the three survivors of the massacre at Castagate. You were saved by the Great Inquisitor Heimlock, and from a young age, you dedicated your life to the republican army of the Exterminators, enrolling in a military academy to become the perfect supernatural hunter. Heimlock was deeply involved in your training, and thanks to his attention, training, and advice, you and your childhood friends Valeria and Edric became known as Heimlock's children.

Not long ago, the Brotherhood of Dawn invaded the Crimson Citadel, a mysterious fortress of the Republic lost in the northern wastelands known as the Red Desert. Although the motives behind the attack remain unclear, the Senate of the Republic decided to strike back at all known strongholds of the Brotherhood.

The forces of the Great Inquisitor Heimlock will soon be deployed on the shores of Shipwrecks near Stormfall to destroy the Brotherhood's camp. You and your two childhood friends will participate in Operation "Doom of Dawn," led by Justicar Maelis.

The game features two campaign difficulty modes: Story and Normal. After completing the game, the difficulty gradually and smoothly increases.
